yeah the body works is a little off i mean it is cool he built it but it looks like it was made from cardboard. though i am sure it is fast

This is totally awesome.

But its pretty clear he didn’t do everything other than the engine from scratch. The seats look like a pretty standard sport seat. I’m positive he didn’t make his own tires. Comparing the metal work on the body to the metal work on the wheels, I’m reasonably certain he didn’t do the wheels, either. And there are other mechanical bits, like the coil on the suspension, that I’m doubtful he did completely on his own.

I can’t believe some people on here have the balls to talk bad about what this guy did. That’s a VERY cool car. I’d like to see one of the backyard jack @$$’s that are making fun of this guy do something like this. You guy’s have obviously never restores a car or built a race car, I bet you couldn’t even handle a soap box derby car.

Not a bad job for someone that hand built it. Only thing I like about the car is the arrangements of the headlights. He could have put a bit more attention to cleaning up the engine bay, like polishing the rollcage and give it a good paint job.

oh and look at the size of the Turbo, almost the size of one you’d find on a drag car.

That definitely is impressive coming from a single man’s efforts, no doubt.

But if I were him I’d be really weary of putting the thing through performance tests. (the article mentions that performance stats aren’t available)

I’m not sure it could survive the tests!

The Uragano even pulls off the bare metal look quite well. – It has no paint!!!

You’d think when they say built by hand from scratch it was like an Italian dish or something. I think they would be better off building it the new way on a computer then do the clay models and then bring it to production.
