I think that the XF is a great-looking car. However, the XJ needs to look a little less Lexus-meets-Aston, and a little more stately.

A return to an E-Type successor would be great. But it'd need to be much cheaper to keep from competing with the XK. And unless Jaguar are working on a series of all-new sixes (along with that 5L V8 that'll be out before too long), or they're planning on adding a V12 powertrain to the XK, I don't see how an XE sports car would work against an XK. It just might be a sedan or crossover to slot in under the XF.

I love Jags, though, so I'm excited to see movement of any kind...and a new product blitz will be great. Along with the addition of super-luxurious Daimlers, the future looks good for this group.

How do we know the XE is actually previewing a sports car? While the E moniker has long been used on coupes in Jaguar's history, the reality of today's market (and the new Indian ownership) suggests it could also be a successor to the X-type sedan, which was deleted for the US market but still sells in other parts of the world.

They don't call you to sell the car. Instead, when you have trouble, YOU have to call THEM and try to guess whether the guy said "clippers" or "calipers"...

..."manifold" or "muffler"...
