^^ The quality of comments on this site would go a long way towards improving if people wouldn’t make such definitive statements despite not knowing what the hell they’re talking about. Not once was it said that Ford never struggled with Jaguar sales… only that they made huge improvements in build-quality compared to the BL Jags…

The juvenile part comes when people will continue to argue for the sake of arguing…

Back to the topic at hand….

I’m sure Ford is glad to say “ta ta” to Jaguar and Land Rover as they struggled in vein to make them profitable for so many years (pun completely intended). Should be interesting to see how a relative newcomer to the auto industry does with them.

just saw the XF supercharged on the street and god it’s gorgeous. fairly good value as well–the germans want at least $10k more for similar equipment and performance.
too bad i’m a dozen years too young to be its target clientele.

if domestic industries cannot compete with the rising economies they deserve to be obsolete. last thing i want those head-in-the-sand government official screwing the market by imposing tariffs and quotas. i need no one to tell me what purchase is best for my bottom line. thank god for globalization. i never asked detroit for help, neither should they expect any handout from me. for those who failed to ride the wave of globalization… tough luck.

Hi, I’m AMG off and I like to whine all day bc 1115 proved that GMs are unreliable and unsafe I don’t know what to do so I just attack him change the subject and when he asks me to talk about the links and all the other proof he sent and talks I just go into a hissy fit much like this
Someone get AMG Off some Bailey with chamomile please crush up some sleeping pills in it as well
He actually think FOMOCo helped Jag Ford never even turned a profit on them and the X type was made yea thanks Ford

HRR… they’re still going to be built in Britain, they’re still going to be built with a majority of Ford-funded engineering, and they’re still going to be left semi-autonomous for the foreseeable future.

I don’t know about you… but I’d still take a Jag over any Lexus/Infiniti/Acura any day of the week.

We can all pretty much tell that you’re not old enough to remember the days of BL Jags… but guess what Sparky? This was another case of a domestic manufacturer buying a foreign nameplate and subsequently increasing its model’s build quality and reliability tremendously. Hop into any original pre-Ford Jag and see how much works well if at all… especially anything to do with the electrical system.

Once again… you know absolutely nothing of what you’re talking about. All we get is the typical – “Hi, I’m tripleonefucktard… I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I think so much of myself that my own raging ignorance and bias far outweighs the reality of any situation!”

God help us all if you ever actually learn anything before you speak…

If you would get your GD and got into county college you would learn that majority of students in 4 year colleges of US are from Asia, especially in scientific and technical fields. Perhaps learning colors at early age helped them to master math and science. Do you know what physics is? Chemistry? Did not mean to stumble you, just asking.

Anyway the new XK is nice on the outside but the interior didnt impress me like I thought it would and underneath its still an s type
If its prices are reasonable it should be able to steal a couple of sales from MB or BMW
