Here’s a hint to California: when in every year after 1998 more than 100% of all your new jobs were real estate related (meaning the net non-real estate job total was negative each year), then you hung your entire hat on the one industry that was destined to go bankrupt due to the excessive borrowing, plus your state’s population is so stupid as to pay for its lifestyle by borrowing instead of producing, so now your state is a shithole. It was a great Idea that would have benefited ALL Ford’s luxury brands. Too bad they didn’t have the money to support all the groups.

BTW – this is the reason Lincoln is where it is today, It was put on the back burner to all the others and when it moved back to Dearborn, the product plans were YEARS behind and almost nonexistant!
