hey hummah, your an idiot… i assume that like most people, you are possibly into lamborginis? well where do you think lamborghini started? making tractors! then when he went to enzo ferrari to make a few suggestions, ferrari laughed in his face… not too long later the muira came out, one of the best looking and most advanced cars of its time… i sure hope you dont call yourself a car enthusiast because it would be a real disappointment.

Sorry. My Aston comment was a bit ambiguous. I meant infringe as in is that what Jag wants to do? Are they trying to get into that ‘class’ of car… similar to Hyundai making the Genesis. In Hyundai’s case, they’re clearly aiming for luxury cars. I mentioned Aston specfically because of their former joint ownership.

Gundy, I do suggest that every company should be concerned about profit. As a taxpayers, how many Citibanks and GM’s can we support? Welfare was inexpensive foreplay, compare to this.
What I am saying that if car will be developed, like their software it will be inexpensive and worthless. Brits have a saying” I am not wealthy enough to buy cheap things”

Jaguar and Aston have been owned by different people for more than a year now. They can compete as much as they like now.

And Jag does need more models to keep them competitive and growing. Sounds like Tata’s got a vision for Jaguar: XF coupe, F-Type, new XJ, new diesel, Daimler going head-to-head with Bentley and Rolls, and now this “XE” model.

Borat, are you saying that Tata only cares about profit?! I’m shocked! (kiddin’). This should be an interesting one for sure. Two of my top five cars of all time are Jags, but I’ve never owned one (XK120 and E-Type) Anyone seen any drawings or computer renderings on what this might look like? I agree that the current grille has to go, the ‘91 Taurus / sucker-mouth thing.

My client has Tata Consulting doing some work for them. If Jaguar (owned by the same Tata) is any reflection of Tata Consulting company work, then new car will be much cheaper, but will not move much in any direction.
