The original concept ‘asian’ headlight design was stronger. They really were attention grabbing. The grille is nice but the lights and body work just look to pedestrian. The competition is just to stiff to play it safe these days, you gotta have that something special in this segment of the market. Putting a jag badge on a Hyundai look a like wont cut it.

Inline6, actually I think it is GM, with the 900 thousand cars just recalled.

I saw this car for the first time the other day, and it’s gorgeous. The rear looks like an Aston MArtin, and it has a well-balanced silhouette with just enough aggressivity to look a littel menacing as well. I love it!

Wow…Toyota releases a recall where their windows shatter when you roll them up, and everyone says “Well, I’m glad Toyota’s volunarily fixing it. That’s what a company should do”. Then when Jag or GM voluntarily recall cars for issues in which NO INJURIES ARE REPORTED, you say “typical”.

Who leads this year in most cars recalled? Toyota or VW? Because it isn’t GM anymore.

I didn’t realize they’d sold that many. Jaguar ir really painted into a corner of its own making. The XF couldn’t look like any other Jaguar or it would be panned and ignored as just another cartoon of past glories like the the Xj, X, and S. They had to do something completely different and modern. Somehow, it came out lookiing like Japanese COPY of Jaguar.

They should recall all of them and change those awful headlaps and that totally generic grill!
The dashboard is another area that scores very high on quality, materials and feel, but fails when it comes to design quality! I’ve never seen such boring and bland interior design since the 80s!
So yeah, I don’t like this Jag!
