LDMAN, you don't know too much about the auto industry do you? Why the hell would BMW be interested in picking up a brand that produces cars in one of the most expensive countries on earth and positions itself as premium sport/luxury brand which is what BMW does also?

To xkr:
I got one word for Ian, X350. The New XJ looked too much like the old one and as a result is a flop that precipitated Jaguar into being sold. Granted, he is not the one that approved the final draft.
On the subject of X250 (XF), the car should have looked more like the Advanced Lightweight Coupe Concept and was softened up for production. It shows.
The loss of Aluminium (not Ian's fault) also made the car too heavy. However, I still love Jags and the direction the brand is taking.

Let us see what Tata does with it. My hunch is that they will try to sell it ASAP to BMW.

I think it's great looking. I just don't see Jaguar in it, aside from the logo bits. It looks like a Lexus to me.

Like I've said before this XF would have made a great Taurus replacement, however, the spy shot of the upcoming Taurus looks better than the XF! The XF is bland at best...sorry Ian.
