There’s just way too much Ford in this car. It’s subtle, but found throughout. When Ford purchased it, it should’ve realized that no Jaguar buyer wants any Ford or Lincoln styling cues whatsoever. Let’s see what Tata does.

Portfolio was originally set up as a designation that the cars were built for the US Market. They also defined a trim level that was only available here, but whose reach will extend this year.

Karl, I remember in mid-80′s developers in Manhattan were offering free Jaguar with purchase of an apartment (south of financial center). Jaguar had reputation for quality that could rival Chinese dog food. Cars were gorgeous, but they could be driven much less then FIAT of the day.

On another subject, I believe the correct spelling is schmack not shnykes.

Jaguar has always built beautiful and well crafted cars. Where there were once deemed as the beauty and class leader, pre-2000, they are back to reclaim their thrown. Tata is one lucky man and he is really taking Jaguar to a place Ford couldn’t seem to reach. I actually love the looks of this car. Very stunning.

Jaguar shouldn’t need to shy away from its design heritage, which came long before the Taurus. In the metal, its a much more graceful and pleasing design than its direct competitors, the 6-series and the SL or CLK (ahem, E-Coupe).

luckily i’m fine being severely retarded, because it’s not beautiful to me…then again, beauty is in the eye of the retarded beholder…also the whole “if you don’t agree with me you’re an idiot” thing speaks volumes of insecurity…do you really care if somebody else doesn’t like what you like? or is that just your agenda as a jag marketing person? ;P

One of the sexiest cars ever made has just got even better, this new XK is world class period. You would have to be serverly retarded to think this car was not beautiful. BMW, Mercedes & Porsche can only dream of designing cars as good as this Jag.

not a fan of the droopy nose, especially compared to the maserati or aston look…dare i say the rear (which is more tidy imo) has taillights that look almost like a miata? ;P

This car’s always had so much potential but it was difficult to look at the front end without thinking older Taurus open fishmouth look. This one still has it or maybe its the end of a dustbuster.
