Jaguar has announced JaguarWatch, a tracking service for its cars that the automaker says is the first Internet-based system of its kind.

Instead of providing tracking data solely to Jaguar or the police during an emergency, JaguarWatch uses a MicroTRAK GPS unit that relays its information to an Internet-based server. Drivers can track their car from the Web regardless of its current state. [Full story here].
