Jeep has a little wiggle room to develop niche products within their tough, off-road capable brand perimeters if they properly execute the product. The production Compass is NOT an example of proper execution. As far as the Renegade name, I think its use on this concept is appropriate. I know it has been used before, but I've seen the practice of reusing concept names employed by other companies. At least this name fits its respective concept much better than the Chrysler brand "ecoVoyager" concept. Everything they do is ruled by cost, just look at how much the wrangler hard top leaks and how bad the sebring interior is. I'm told most of the people who work there are under the impression they are making quality vehicles? Still when they close the detroit office it'll give the mexican office something to do finally. Bring back the friggin' Cherokee!! Just slightly, slighty revise the exterior and give it an all-new quality interior. I like the headlamps and grill of this concept.
