Jeep Wrangler may be delayed

The unanticipated shutdown of automotive supplier Haden Prism may delay production of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler, according to The Car Connection. Chrysler is reportedly scrambling to fill the void left by Haden’s closure, and a spokesperson has downplayed the impact of the bankruptcy. At the Detroit auto show last month, Jeep unveiled the 2007 Wrangler, which features a unique reconfigurable roof and specialized off-road features. Availability had been expected for fall 2006.
