The unanticipated shutdown of automotive supplier Haden Prism may delay production of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler , according to The Car Connection. Chrysler is reportedly scrambling to fill the void left by Haden’s closure, and a spokesperson has downplayed the impact of the bankruptcy. At the Detroit auto show last month, Jeep unveiled the 2007 Wrangler, which features a unique reconfigurable roof and specialized off-road features. Availability had been expected for fall 2006.
