If he really is a car guy he must have a tumor the size of jabba the hutt after putting up with Gm management for 40 years.
Sad to see a car guy go to no doubt be replaced by some faceless accountant.

I think this will be the end of truly great performance cars from GM. Better purchase a CTS-V or ZR-1 now – they’ll be the last of their kind from GM, possibly forever.

I could not agree more. This guy is the man. He has or had my dream job. There’s another guy that works for GM he might be retired now too though, John Moss. He brought us the (1994-96) Impala SS I wouldn’t mind having his job either.

Maybe i’m afraid of doomsday, but could this be the death of GM Performance Division? Retire rather than be fired.

I heard he pushes the rules to their limit and potentially past with regards to his SCCA triumphs, not to take away from his driving skill, of course.

Maybe this is the announcement they had planned for tomorrow? Just kidding, but I think it’s probably a good indication of what’s going down at GM. First the Corvette guy, now this guy…hmmmm
