Uh, when we first saw the front, I thought it was nice, but the side is hideous. Oh well, if it ever makes it to production at least it will be cheap. Under 20 grand probably.

Kia has Toyota, Honda, and Nissan in their sights. They are making leaps and bounds with every new design; it’s only a matter of time before they shed the ‘bargain car’ image like Hyundai.

I take that back. THe SX4 looks good, but it needs upgrades. The WRC SX4 is totally hot… A Suzuki “must build”.

It looks good… and at least halfway practical. Reminds me of the Suzuki SX4, but much more interesting and way less “old people car”. I wouldn’t buy one but I wouldn’t mind seeing it come to production.

This car looks like an old Bertone model back in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It looks alright but I wouldn’t buy one.

AMgoff: I have the 3.4. The car is nine-years old, and the kids have destroyed the cup holders and such, but the engine feels and sound better than a new kia. GM made some great engines around that time

I like the Regal GS, aka the first post-gangbanger Regal.

But 2+4 + 6.

My wife and teen daughter will drive soon, and they take over minivan(?) duties and I’ll drive a coupe or sedan.

jackjim, I’m assuming you have the 3.8L in your olds? If so you may very well be disappointed a lot of the newer engines on the market, that V6 was and still is a fantastic engine. I’m not sure what you’re in the market for but you should check out some of the last Regals that rolled off the line. We have an ‘04 Regal GS that we bought new, it is the nicest car we’ve ever owned. The supercharged 3.8 in it is absolutely awesome, it’s quiet and comfortable and has every electronic goodie one could ask for. Even though the wife’s 300M has 15 more hp the Regal just flies compared to it. Low mileage ’04s can be had for around $15K which is a steal for the amount of car you get. It is however, only a five-seater so it might not be big enough for your needs.

Give it no less than a healthy (hopefully supercharged) 6-cylinder, rear drive, a smooth shifting five-speed (none of that flappy-paddle ****) and price it below 20K and I just might consider looking at one. I would never buy one, but I’d at least look at it!
