LamoZ-No, most people would not want one fo these. How many of these do you see cruising your college campus? No, I don’t mean the posters hanging in your dorm room.
Bimmer, Yes agreed, I have tried to make that point in the past about these overpriced hulks they call exotics. Not one has over 20k on the odo and that would be considered high mileage. If someone was dumb enough to say put an average 15k a year on one of these, it would nickle and dime you to death and get worse MPG’s then a 3/4 ton Suburban.
For old rich men and Arabs anyway.

Not a Lamborghini, but I saw a “used” Enzo on ebaymotors yesterday with the low low monthly payment of $6,157 a month. Wonder what APR that is? Hah.

Bimmer,

Most people who own exotics will not keep them for two years..or even a year. These people can afford to take a hit on their exotic trade-in to get the latest and greatest.

Hey autonut, where’ve you been? Just so you know, this site has reverted to total chaos in your absence so things are pretty much status quo.

I’m willing to bet there are some pretty good used Lambos out there that have not been red-lined on every trip to the mistress’ apartment.

A) where do you get away with it?
B) Many exotics are like Harleys: driven/ridden by old men who haven’t got a clue what they’re doing.

if you’re so confident in quality, find me a FEW examples with 100,000 on odometer. I’ll even accept 100,000 kms, not even miles. And I’m not asking just what you’ve heard from Joe Blow, give me a proof with millage. Good luck with your search! They don’t last that long!

Financially it is a brilliant move. There is a strong aftermarket for those toys and VW just cornered it. SInce prices are high already, whoever is on the market for a second hand Lambo will shell few extra to have some level of confidence. By same token original owner probably did not drive **** out of it, since car cost arm and a leg to start with. Mere mortal probably could not drive **** out of it: the decibel level is very deafening around 6K rpm and it is good for over 8K.
My POS redlines at 8.4K but I can’t be in the car above 5K and I have engine in front of me. Amgine having it by your head?

I don’t think they’ll certify all those diablos carefully thrashed absolutely to death. Durable it may be, but being redlined mercilessly takes it’s toll. Most people drive lambos like they stole it in here.
