Lamborghini’s most extreme Gallardo bowed this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show: The Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale.

Based on the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race car, the latest in a long line of special-edition Gallardo’s is packed with performance features from its competition-oriented cousin. The car shares a 570-horsepower V10 with the Blancpain, reportedly allowing the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale to rocket from zero-to-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, which is definitely less time than it takes to say the car’s name.

Also borrowed from the Blancpain is a massive rear wing that is manually adjustable to suit any given track or road, along with a quick-release engine hood to facilitate speedy repairs should anything go awry. The use of lighweight carbon fiber and aluminum materials allows the car to check in at just 2,954 pounds.

The most potent of Gallardo’s features a new “Rosso Mars†paint color as well as a interior with black alcantara, contrasting red stitching and carbon fiber trim. Race-inspired options include carbon ceramic brakes, a tubular interior roll cage, 4-point safety belts and a fire extinguisher.

Only 150 Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale will be produced.
