Lamborghini Gallardo star in “Mission: Impossible III”

04/27/2006, 5:48 PM

By admin

The Lamborghini Gallardo will makes an on-screen appearance in the highly anticipated Mission: Impossible III, Paramount and Lamborghini said today. Accordingly, Italian moviegoers were treated to an extra performance, when the cast arrived in 10 Lamborghinis at the movie’s spectacular world premiere in Rome. “So how do you get Tom Cruise, Maggie Q and this year’s Academy Award winner for best actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman, into the two-seater Lamborghini Gallardo?” asks Paramount. “Go see Mission: Impossible III to find out.” The Leftlane Pespective: If we didn’t think the movie would be otherwise entertaining, we probably wouldn’t go see it just to see the Gallardo. However, the movie sounds like it will be fun, and the Lambo cameo should add to the experience, at least for us car buffs. Image of the cast arriving in the convoy of Lambos after the jump…

I’m surprised Tom Cruise didn’t come flying in with his DC-8 space plane along with the galactic federation.

Sorry, even a Gallardo won’t be enough to save the public from another inane movie that has that idiot Cruise in it!

in case you didnt remember, Tom Cruise has been in some of the greatest movies of all time. although kind of corny now, Risky Business, Days of Thunder, Color of Money, and recently The Last Samurai where all great movies, and some should still be considered great.

I wonder is ‘Gallardo’ translates into some sort of hidden meaning word/phrase in the Scientology world?

Maybe, “I can’t get enough of myself?” ;)

I hope this isn’t another John Woo film, like the previous movies. I can’t stand his directing. Overtly lame, over-the-top violence, completely unrealistic…sounds like another vehicle for commercializing merchandise. Wasn’t MI-2 a commercial for the VW groupe AG also? TT convertible and Porsche 996 if I remember correctly. MI-1 was Triumph motorcycles. I can’t wait for the next Jason Bourne film to come out…
