Lamborghini planning surprise for Geneva show? No SUV?

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann told French publication Le Figaro that the Italian supercar maker has a surprise in store for the Geneva Motor Show in late February and early March. He said production of the Miura concept is unlikely due to budget constraints. Recently, we reported that Winkelmann committed to building a Lambo SUV. At the time, he also said a small production run of the Miura was possible for special customers. Interestingly, Winkelmann said budget limitations may also stop the company from building its SUV. Le Figaro said it believes Lamborghini’s surprise might be the range-topping 2009 V12 Lagartijo, a 2+2 designed to compete with Ferrari’s 612 Scaglietti and Aston Martin’s Vanquish (concept sketch shown right).
