Lamborghini reveals action photos of Gallardo LP560-4, pricing for U.K. market

06/06/2008, 3:58 PM

By paulee

Lamborghini’s newest raging bull, the Gallardo LP560-4, has finally stretched its legs at a recent press event in Las Vegas, and the Italian supercar maker shared its high-res photos of the car in action. It has also revealed pricing information for the car, albeit for the U.K. market only.

The Gallardo has been around since 2004, and the baby Lambo for the first time sports a top speed of more than 200mph, thanks largely to its 552hp output. Its 0-62mph sprint is rated at 3.7 seconds, while weight has been decreased slightly over the outgoing model. Buyers across the pond can purchase the basic Gallardo LP560-4 for £147,330 (an equivalent of about $287,500), though official U.S. pricing should be slightly lower.

I LOVE this. I found the original Gallardo to have rather lukewarm styling when it debuted. I think it was Automobile magazine that said it looked like it was designed by a committee, and I somewhat agreed though it really grew on me. Seeing one in person was a different matter altogether – It was Amazing.

But this, THIS is amazing! Gone is the playful “cute” face of the old Gallardo, replaced with something just as menacing as an LP640 or Reventón. I liked the rear end of the old car, but this is more in-line with the rest of the range. I’m sure that it will make the car look even wider in person. Not a bad thing at all!

I think the most impressive fact that none of the magazines have mentioned yet is that this is just as fast and quicker than the original Murcielago!

I like the Gallardo much better than the Mercielago. Love this new one.

Lamborghini is definitely one of the most, if not the most, exclusive and classy brands out there. This new Gallardo looks awesomely fresh and even a soccer mom can tell it’s fast and good. Preferred the other rear for the Gallardo though.

Gorgeous car, but steering is borrowed from TT. It shouldn’t. For $300 Momo steering it should disassociate from Audi

Even baby lambo has 550+ HP now… it should given normal cars now run with 300+ HP.

autonut: **** I just noticed it. The steering and MMI are straight from the TT, they didn’t even change the menu’s color. What the hell???

Although the changes are small, I liked the old headlights better. I think they could have done a little better as already said with distancing themselves from Audi, but still looks nice.

it is gorgeous, but the front bumper has a problem to me,it’s a bit long and unrythmical but not on these pictures, they didnt put that angle view except the image #18 and they hide it,so thats why they captured the side views on the low height,by the way its really awesome!!!!!!

Impulsive, you are rude, crude, a psuedo-intellectual with an undeserved sense of superiority, you think you are the gramaer police despite your own grammatical mistakes. People who live in glass houses should not throw rocks.

I have posted NO mistakes of any kind, ‘Dufus’. Feel free to point out anything that a monkey like you deems unsatisfactory … which is pointless because monkeys like you are illiterate.

I am rungs above you in intellect, halfwit. I toy with less-than-average chimps like you. I own you.

‘Stwelve’, I warned you to be careful .. if you continue to look as bad as ‘Dufus’, you too will feel my wrath.

Wow, ‘Dufus’, you’re a ****ing waste of a life … I misspelled it “hperbole” typing too fast … not “hperole” as you claim … go back and read it again as many times as you need. And secondly, you didn’t provide a second example … because there isn’t one … BWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA …. LOSER.

Stwelve, probably older then you and do not be like Impulsive, brassmonkey, you make mistakes, so do not point out other’s, and you are also pointless like Impulsive. Impulsive, you spelled it wrong because you are not as smart as you think you are.

Learn something ‘Dufus’ … those living in glass houses should NEVER throw stones … but you are a ****ing dolt who tries to point out ONE spelling mistake in some time because I was typing much too fast … as skilled as I am, with a word that you’ve never used in your entire lifetime. I am a genius compared to a monkey like you … listen to ‘brassmonkey’ and ‘Stwelve’, they see the same thing I see … you are a retard of “epic proportion”, as ‘Deanster’ would say.

You are always point out other people’s mistakes, and yet you do not like it when someone does it to you? You are a hypocrite Impulsive. I will not listen to brassmonkey, you or Stwelve. I do not like people who are so insecure in real life they have to insult people over the net.

Come on, now. If you are going to have a rebuttal, at least try to make grammatical sense.

“You are always point out other people’s mistakes, and yet you do not like it when someone does it to you?”

Did you flunk ESL? (That’s “English as a Second Language” in case you didn’t know, you ****ing ****bag.) Your inability to engage in banter, nevermind basic comments regarding cars (which is what this site is about), is catastrophically flawed, as is your character. I suggest you go back to bagging orders at the drive thru, and try not to **** it up. I’ll be there soon for my dinner. Out.

Have fun with that Stwelve. Personally, I am just going to ignore Impulsive and his ilk, they are ill mannered psuedo-intellectuals who think they are the grammar police and probably live alone and have deep psychological issues that they take out on people over the net.

‘brassmonkey’ sees the same portrait on the wall that I see … hmmmmm, maybe we’re both wasted but the odds that two of us see the same thing leads me to believe that what is, is … and what is, is that you are an abject FAILURE ‘Dufus’ arguing with those who are well above you on any scale of intellect, and to argue without shame while you dig yourself deeper into a hole of worthlessness is pathetic.

‘Stwelve’, this is your last warning … enter this party knowing the rules or you’ll have a difficult time here. Calling me “rustic” is hilarious but wrong.
