A European patent filing has led to the leaking of some fairly crude computer generated images of a potential future Toyota product. Although the vehicle is unnamed and doesn’t coincide with any news Toyota has made public, it appears to follow Prius design cues.
According to a recent report by French outfit, L’Automobile, the illustrations were filed in a European patent office, but it is unknown what exact vehicle is shown.
We see many similarities between the greenhouse and rear hatch body lines of the first generation Toyota Prius ’ and these patent illustrations – leading us to believe that these images may be hinting at a future Prius, rather than a new model altogether.
At this point, the information is sparse to say the least, but L’Automobile believes that these computer illustrations might be hinting at a Lexus set to be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
