I hate that car

I have to agree… I hate it too… it’s one of the most unimaginative deigns on the road. I’m sure it coddles and drives well enough, but it’s too bland for my tastes.

^ Bloated fish indeed. Remember the old SC400? That was a great design in its time. They need another snappy design like that. Maybe a coupe version of the IS, which has sexy proportions…

If it is a special edition, get rid of the dorky back seat.

Once again another ’special edition’ to help pick up sales on product that’s not moving.

It’s the oldest deign currently on sale form the Lexus brand range. Its time to come out with a new car, Toyota! The design is what? 10 years old?

It looks like an upside-down bathtub. Can you believe that a regular SC costs $65k?? I would have pegged it for 40 or less. Gross.

And the SC400 was very slick for it’s day.

Really really hate it, kill it already

I’m announcing a yawn so big that my jaw hurts.

When this car came out I kind of liked it but within a few weeks, I hated it. The worst part is when I drove one and then I really never wanted to see this car again. My aunt has the SC430 in pearl white which is a beautiful color on a ugly car. About this story, we don’t even get to see an interior shot of that “limited edition” model. Lexus, redesign this car or kill it and fast.

I hate the SC430.. it totally diminishes the Lexus brand!! We have a LS and whenever i see that pass by I just feel distressed to know its the same make!

This thing id old. And the rear headrests look like sombody photoshopped a 2 seater car to make it longer but did not remove the repeated headrests. It would look better without the rear headrests but not good enough for me to want one or even recommend. That power output is so horrible. Its nice to see that every post on this topic is -ve. Kill the damn car.

This is now the fourth or fifth Pebble Beach Edition SC.. too bad Toyota has no idea what else to do with this car! Now that its once-novelty folding hardtop is being done better elsewhere, for far less, and with actual rear seats.. time to revive the fixed-hardtop SC that once defined the brand.

A fugly car’s fugly edition

This car has got a really nice interior, but lets be real…it’s time for a redesign.

This car is from an older generation of Lexus design, I think we can all safely bet that if Lexus puts out a new version of this car, it will follow the current design themes of the company, which are taut, tightly engineered designs. The SC430 has been around forever, and really doesn’t represent the current state of Lexus design or engineering capability. -

Yea this car is pretty dated looking. Even with the new grille you can tell its an old design. What year did this come out 2002>?? I dont think they will redesign it I think the LF-A will take its place in the lineup. Also the 4 Runner based GX is a goner when the next RX comes with 3 rows of seats. They are also working on an entry level SUV based on the RAV4. I think IX or JX will be the name
