Lexus is considering adding as many as three utility vehicles to its lineup over the next few years, according to a report by Edmunds. The automaker is said to be considering a small crossover based on the Toyota RAV4. The vehicle would compete with Acura’s RDX. The same platform may also be used for the 2009 Lexus RX successor. Also on the table is a high-end crossover based on the 2003 HPX concept (shown right). The production HPX would be based on the IS sedan and target the Infiniti FX.
