Lexus is considering adding as many as three utility vehicles to its lineup over the next few years, according to a report by Edmunds. The automaker is said to be considering a small crossover based on the Toyota RAV4 . The vehicle would compete with Acura ’s RDX. The same platform may also be used for the 2009 Lexus RX successor. Also on the table is a high-end crossover based on the 2003 HPX concept (shown right). The production HPX would be based on the IS sedan and target the Infiniti FX.
