Lexus IS 350 a “bad BMW”?

12/19/2005, 4:46 PM

By admin

This morning, we brought you a review from the Washington Post of the 2006 Lexus IS 250. Reviewer Warren Brown said he thought the car provided an excellent degree of control, and reasonable power. But automotive columnist Robert Farago doesn’t have as many good things to say about the Lexus IS 350 — the performance version of the new IS sedan. “The IS 350 is only slightly less hard-riding than a Skyline GT-R– with none of the corresponding car control,” writes Farago. And with traction control disabled, be prepared for “oversteer oblivion” courtesy of the “sharpest yet least progressive brakes money can buy.” To conclude, he says the IS 350 is a “bad BMW, rather than it’s own girl.”
