Toyota's Lexus luxury division has announced the recall of its 2013 GS 350 F Sport rear-wheel drive sedan. The recall is due to an issue with the GS' steering system.

According to Toyota, the GS 350 F Sport's electronic control unit for the Variable Gear Ratio Steering may not have been correctly calibrated at the factory, which "could cause the steering wheel to become off-centered when restarting the vehicle immediately after the vehicle is parked with the steering wheel turned."

No accidents or injuries have been linked to the defect.

Toyota says the 2013 GS 350 F Sport recall will begin sometime next month. Lexus dealers will fix the problem by updating the ECU, which should take about 30 minutes.

The recall covers 650 vehicles.
