Lexus will use this month's Paris Motor Show to debut a new concept car. Lexus will also use the show for the western Europe debut of its latest LS 600h F Sport flagship.
Lexus kept its Paris announcement short and sweet, saying only that the show would host the “world premiere of a new Lexus concept car.”
That doesn't give us much to go on, but we know that Lexus is readying two new production cars – a smaller crossover to slot beneath the RX and a road-going version of the LF-LC concept car.
Dubbed the CX, Lexus' smaller crossover is said to be tipped for a European reveal in late 2012, which would line up perfectly with the September 27 start of the Paris show. Lexus could debut a CX concept in Paris and follow it up with a production model later in the year at the Los Angeles auto show.
The LF-LC has already made its concept debut, but Lexus could opt to revealed a thinly-guised production version of the car in Paris. A natural successor to the SC, the LF-LC will split the gap between the IS-C and the LFA supercar in Lexus' coupe lineup.
Be sure to check back later this month for more details and live images from the Lexus stage in Paris.
