I think that GS would look really good with similar vents on the sides like the IS-F. That would give it a great aggressive look.

Lexus has a long way to go if they want to compete with the likes of the AMG and M-series, RS series cars. In fact, I think it has a hard time competing with Infiniti when it comes to 'sports luxury', let alone the Germans.

Lexus wants to have their cake and eat it, too. Cater to the sedate 50+ something group yet also bring in the up-and-comer 30-somethings. Sorry -- doesn't work that way. Mercedes and BMW can do it since they actually have innovative design and throw in a splash of performance, even at the expense of not maximizing their profit in making limited production cars.

Toyota is too concerned with not offending the masses with their cars and are far too conservative with their product. I don't blame them for it -- look at their financial position compared to the other car manufacturers. Now ... if they can go back to their roots from the 80s -- Supra, MR2, Trueno (a la Initial D) ... cars that have soul ... and translate it to modern design ... they will give MB, BMW, Audi a run for their money. They have the resources -- it's whether or not the upper brass will give it the green light.

Nissan is up to the challenge ... albeit some (innovative?) quirky designs like their SUVs and the love-it-or-hate-it GT-R. Toyota? Jury is still out on that one ...

Nice GS, wish they had done something with the rear lights. I think they need lower profile tires though. Watch out for pebbles! LOL. Great looking design never the less.

A friend of mine in Vancouver took his 350Z and turned it into a monster.
i still think he should have taken his car to the show.

No mother-in-law on earth will love the rear doors shaved handles. If junior wants to make an impression, he'd better have more than one vehicle to tow the in-laws.
