Lincoln should replace its "halo car"- the geriatric Town Car with something modern and yet exudes American luxury and they need that car now. Whats up with the Ford design studios that they are too slow to react to the market. The updated Navigator, MKX, and the MKS will not do. They need something bolder and not too derivative of the target market. Something to counter the sucessful "Art and Science" of Cadillac. Although I can say that Lincoln is the better of the two when it comes to interior design.

well, zephyr isnt really a popular name anymore... its an obscure one only known by some car guys...
i like the changes theyre making to the car except for the name change... cadillac, mercedes, audi, acura, lexus, and bmw are all doing the alphanumeric thing already... youre going to run out off letter-number and three-letter combinations...
nice car with awd and the new v6, though...

man, the 1940 Zepher was one sexy car. i truely mean it...there was a sketch or rendition of a maybach coupe that looked like it...so badass, like an oldschool dark gothic badmobile...something you would see straight out of sin city. the new Zepher on the other hand is an even worse reincarnation of popular names like the GTO..

I saw a Zephyr on campus the other day. Very good looking car. It looks a lot better in person than it does in pictures.

I think they should keep the Zephyr name.

A high-performance version would be nice. Too bad it isn't RWD.
