Lotus at the Geneva Motor Show will unveil a new concept vehicle called the APX. Lotus insists it doesn’t plan to build the vehicle, but rather is using it to showcase the skills of the team from Lotus Engineering. The car is based on the company’s Versatile Vehicle Architecture (VVA), elegantly styled by Lotus Design and powered by the new Lotus engineered 3.0l V6 300bhp NEF engine. VVA exploits Lotus’ expertise in aluminium, steel and composite body engineering, joining techniques, and vehicle systems integration. Both the Lotujs Elise and Europa are built on the Versatile Vehicle Architecture. Full image after the jump…
