Lotus Sport — the performance subsidiary of Lotus — has announced the 2007 Lotus Sport Elise and Lotus Sport Exige Cup. The custom Exige is meant for track use, and will be limited to 15 units for $78,990 each. 0-60 is accomplished in 4.1 seconds, thanks to increased output of 243 horsepower. The Lotus Sport Elise is slightly more civilized. Fully street legal, the car gets a roll cage, Ohlins suspension, anti-sway bars, and a tougher clutch. 50 units will be sold in the U.S. for $54,995 each. Gallery after the jump…
