I think that this car is amazing and can survive in the selling of Lotus’ model. But, if possible, maybe Lotus can produce this car for Malaysian market. I see Lotus do not respect Proton as the owner and their parent. Lotus need to respect Malaysian because we all Asian people who the Europeans used to take over their land and their wealth, has take over the one of world most well known car producer. So, Europeans can’t deny the ability os Asians because I believe that Asian, if we united, can really beat up the Europeans and Americans. ASIA FOR ASIA!

Guys Im sure lotus would not dare do this to us alone, although something tells me this is more about these guys advertising thier capability to other manufacturers as an exersize in showing off thier skills in manufacture.. weve all got to eat! However I have to say I like the interior.. its BMW z8 all over.. and i do like some exterior design features but on the whole I have to say whats the preacticle point of this concept?a school run utility? (the ladies wont like the poor rear visibility and its looks to expensive for your modding.. just my 2cs

U all do know that Proton owns Lotus, Proton pumped in almost 1 billion Malaysian ringgit into this project. It will re surface as a Proton as malaysian markets lacks MPV form proton. But Malaysian wont want a 3L car, so we may see the downgraded 2.2L MPV wihout an Aluminum chasis as Proton …

So to answer why Lotus did an MPV, the answer is in the parent company …. except for the sports car, most of their other projects are motivated by proton’s needs!

Why don’t Lotus spend their money on a new Esprit? This car will probably resurface as a Proton, only without the 300bhp, hence no Lotus badge.

if someone has a few kids, Lotus isnt really the first place theyd think of going to get a practical car. I like the styling though, but i can’t believe it does 0-60 in only 5.4 seconds. It looks too chunky for that.

What are Lotus thinking?? This goes against their entire company philosophy (powerful, light sports cars). I really hope they don’t consider building this thing.

visibility out of the rear looks to be a bit challenging. It looks like competition for the Subaru Legacy GT wagon, except from Lotus – so it will undoubtably be far more expensive, slightly faster and slightly more luxurious.
