For all I hear about quality, they are actually right up there with Toyota minus a platform or two. The GM minivans drag down the quality rankings of the four brands. Without the minivans, it is very likely that the GM brands would be above average for initial quality. Mind you that Buick beat Toyota even with their shitty minivan. Without that minivan they might have a fighting shot at overtaking Lexus. GM isn’t in terrible shape.
