Gerard Georgettis, the man who drove his new Ford Escape into a Miami-Dade Ford dealership and set it on fire last week, killed himself while onboard a commercial flight last night. The Federal Aviation Administration said a passenger was found dead in the bathroom of a United Airlines plane Wednesday night. The plane was flying from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles and was diverted to Denver. The fire at Metro Ford caused about $1 million in damage and destroyed a rare Ford GT.

The guy’s right. Ford should have long ago re-designed the Escape.
