#11 That’s one of the best comments if not the best I’ve ever read on here. I agree 100%.

I also have a 2002 Mazda Protege5 that sees regular autox and track use in additon to the 166,000 kilometres that are on it from driving it every day and has never cost me anything other than regular maintenance (not counting the $ I’ve spent on modifications) since it’s been new. It’s been a great car and I will be replacing with a Mazdaspeed 3 in the spring.

A non E mussssss, if you look closely at the reliablity scores, the only models which are holding Mazda down are the B2200 truck (Ford Ranger), Tribute (Ford Escape), and the Mazda6 (built in the good ol’ USA…). And I’d rather buy a Mazda than whatever rebadged Daewoo car GM is offering…

The japcrap brand of Ford… yay. Not. I’d rather spend my money wisely on a Chevrolet or Pontiac in the comparable segments. Nothing special about Mazda and they are pretty unreliable next to the comparable GM offerings.

i nearly bought a Mazda3 5dr but they couldnt find me one in White without a sunroof. i was really dissapointed, it was a really nice car. The Mazdaspeed 3 looks really hot.

I bought a Mazda3 last year and have loved it ever since. I really like Mazda’s designs and hope they keep up with the current crop of cars. I also like that they took a risk w/ the Mazda5 mini-minivan, when no other companies are offering anything similar. Good designs, not afraid to take a risk, sporty cars, I think Mazda found a customer for life in me!

And they’re doing well despite a fairly poor dealer network (in the US anyway), and what seems to be a modest advertising budjet.
Shows the power of product with actual personality. It won’t conquer the world in sales, but it can make for pretty solid business.

Mazda makes some interesting cars that are just a little different than the Honda/Toyota/Nissan cars in the same segments. They try to be more driver focused.

I drove a new CX-7 and it is a nice SUV, for the money it is very nice. It has a very sporty ride/handling mix.

I’m not surprised they are doing well.

maybe mazda should be the corporate design department for the rest of Ford. they seems to be the only ones that know what they are doing.
