As for the Caparo T1 the power to weight ratio is I believe 2 to 1 over a Bugatti with a race tuned 3.0 Litre V8. Its probably one of the fastest and most exciting things 2 drive but don't think your going to get a suitcase or even a pair of gloves in it; unlike the original McLaren F1 which featured an inbuilt suitcase set :D And i really hope Gordan goes through with this and proves that you don't need 1000+ hp to break the 250mph barrier. The McLaren F1 was, and still is the best supercar ever as it changed the normal supercar concept. When drawing up new supercar plans most manufactuers (including Bugatti and Lambo) think that it needs to be big and imposing and therefore heavy. Problem with that is that you need a massive engine to make it go anywhere and don't even think about trying to park it somewhere. With McLaren thought they sed they wanted the perfect handling, uncomprimising performance car that was a close a simulation the public to get of being in a formula 2 car. So they made it small (its only the same size as a ford focus), made a central driving position and used a normally aspirated V12 BMW engine with a modest 650ish hp. Anyway if Gordan wants to recreate this then go for it m8. Britain needs to be on top again and prove that there is an alternative to building a car the size of London if u want to go fast.
