Mercedes-Benz says that it realizes there is a generation of relative youth in markets around the world that have grown up with cell phones and smartphones, referring to them as “digital natives” or millennials, for which it has created the Concept A-Class.

The German automaker says it has focused largely on delivering an intuitive, easy to use and minimally distracting system that utilizes rich and bold graphics. The Mercedes-Benz ap, as they refer to it, can be entirely controlled from a single rotary dial on the center console.

The ap allows for total access to social networking such as Facebook, using a combination of graphics, text and speech-to-text to deliver the experience to the driver with minimal confusion or distraction.

Expect variants of this technology to trickle into many Mercedes-Benz products in the near future.
