I wonder how this SLR will measure up against the SL 65 AMG Black series.

I had the same first thought when I read the Aztek analogy. Completely not even applicable. If you want to “go the way of the Aztek,” you have to do something more than just end production. You have to be forced into an early production end due to universal derision. I don’t think the SLR sold the numbers Merc had envsioned (500/year x 7 years), but it… is… no… Aztek.
