I am just so sick of it. If I had the choice to, I would surely boycott all of China’s products- but another thing I’m sick of, it’s in everything! This very keyboard I’m typing on is most likely manufacturered and assembled in China!

Like I said, crash the damn thing; put it through the moose test, do whatever you can to humiliate the damned designers. Sue their arses into the ground. I have looked at many of their products, and you know what? NOTHING is the least bit original, not a single body panel, headlight or even NAME on these vehicles you cannot attribute to a historic model.

Still, the Toyota holds its value a tad bit better… go figure.

What’ll be better is when they crash test it and it is safer than the original Smart car for have the cash.

It’ll be interesting to see, once the Chinese-made domestic branded cars start to show up on these shores, what peoples’ reactions to them well be. Again, considering all the negative stories about China’s quality control issues lately, I would think it’d be a tough sell convincing people that they really ARE safe.

I really hope Benz sues them, so should Chevrolet, so should Toyota, and many many others.

Yea, it will be about 0.5% as safe as the actual Smart. As far as the legal action, come on, the company is called “China Automobile Deutschland”, could they make it any more blatantly obvious that they’re simply ripping off the car?

I can’t stand the Chinese automobile industry, it’s pathetic to a new extreme. I can’t recall any cars making any waves in safety circles unless they fail tragically (which they seem to do more often than not), and every single one of them is either HORRIBLY designed aesthetically, or the most derivative piece of crap ever built.
