I’m a HUGE mercedes benz fan. and this one im having a hard time getting used to… the interior is crazy! if this thing were to come into production, i bet alot of what u see would be the production model, not concept… one thing i do hope, is that alot of the exterior is just the concept version, i hope they do something a lil less, um, BIG on the front end…

Inless this is the GL550, make the front end smaller, please!

I guess they needed to showcase their new technology with an eye-catching design. I hope this stays a design exercise and not a preview of the next generation of Mercedes sedans. I know they sometimes are accused of playing it safe, but this is going too much in the other direction. It sort of looks like they left an S-Class sedan in the sun too long. If it is meant to attract attention, job well done. If it is supposed to make me want to buy a Mercedes, WRONG!

Idiots, what they are focusing on mostly is the engines and the technology, not necessarily the looks. Europe has brought down a law which states that car companies have to get their car emissions to a very low point average, so the engine is essential. Luxury was always part of Mercedes so luxury and hybrid will no longer be an oxymoron.

Some styling cues will be used, granted. But look more at the technology, fools, and stop talking about how crap it looks and get rid of this gay,stupid, 4th grader on crack conversation in here. Grow up!

is it just me or is a luxury hybrid an oxymoron.
the cars are supposed to be enviornmentally friendly using real leather and real rare wood.

People understand, the car design is a future derection for all cars to take to be more efficient with aero dynamics. The main attraction of the cra is the engine because that is the only thing that will make it to production.

Personally i think it is not a bad design just need to put the prevoius generation CL roofline on there and take away those horrid wheel arches and you may have a good design.

uhhhhhhhhh…hmmmm…not sure what to say about this car. well i have one thing..thats a HIDEOUS side profile shot. good GOD what the hell is going on with the rear doors/roof line. UGH. the front end is…polarizing, however.

Pretty grotesque, looks like they let the R-class designer have his crayons back. The stance is good though, nice to see a wheel at each corner even on a car of this size.
