In November, Mercedes-Benz USA achieved its third-highest sales month in its 42 years of doing business in the U.S. with 22,079 units sold for the month, a 20.8 percent increase over last November’s 18,284 units. This marks the 10th consecutive month that MBUSA has posted record-breaking sales and the company’s best November on record. [Data sheet].

Meanwhile, archrival BMW USA reported BMW brand sales were down 4.5 percent in November for a total of 22,602 vehicles — under 600 more than Mercedes. Overall November sales were off 3.6 percent, with the Group reporting 25,889 vehicles versus the 26,844 reported in 2005. MINI USA reported a 3.7 percent increase in November sales, to 3,287 cars compared to 3,171 cars sold in the same period a year ago. [Data sheet].
