WHY ? 2 > it won't fall apart after a year or two like GM's 3 > you won't look like a blue collar redneck driving one. I thought I missed this but I remembered how annoying NMOFGM can be. Carstuff did a much better job pretending to be 1115 than NMOFGM is at being himself. Mercedes racing has a very long historical past and they do make some very fine racecars, even before GM was even in existence. Now, today they do make most, if not all, AMG's only with autos that upsets many, me included (it would be nice middleground if they just used DSG's) but I've driven many AMG's, several on the racetrack, and all of which I enjoyed beyond my expectations.
