What was wrong with the AMG rims? There are multiple designs of those, and most of them look pretty good.

What’s wrong with AMG rims is that they are plain and boring as hell. If they didn’t have the AMG emblem machined into them, nobody in their right mind would ever buy them. But Renton is right, althoug these rims will look correct, MB will charge 2-3X what they should cost.

I guess madcapp is not into minimalist chic then. Is something only worthwhile if it is over-decorated and over-styled. You should love the next Firebird trans am then.

The rims on the black CLS & E Class (?) look decent. The others are either too busy or just plain ugly.

AMG rims are awesome and I agree with the above comment… too many critics on this site. I am guessing because we all can’t afford any of this (myself included). But seriously, who complains about optional rims… just don’t get them… simple. I think its a great idea.

Timeless designs tend to be on the simple side (that would mean “boring” to some).

And yes… they’ll be expensive… but have you priced a set of TechArt rims lately? Same range.

Gotta pay to play.

The rims from the CLS63 and E63 AMG models are the best. Can’t you option even a “regular” Benz with those rims?
