Mercedes needs something to compete against the Range Rover. I really liked the G500 when I drove it. But as soon as I sat in the Range Rover, I said this was it . . . and I bought one! The Range Rover is by far the most incredible Lux SUV in existence. I don't think that the new GL-class is going to have the cache that the old Geländewagen had! Thank God. Mercedes needs something to compete against the Range Rover. I really liked the G500 when I drove it. But as soon as I sat in the Range Rover, I said this was it . . . and I bought one! The Range Rover is by far the most incredible Lux SUV in existence.
