Completing a trio of special edition models, MINI has taken the wraps off its latest Highgate convertible. The Highgate follows MINI’s other special edition models for 2012, the MINI Baker Street and MINI Bayswater.

Named after the fashionable Highgate district of London, the Highgate convertible upholds its namesake with several unique exterior and interior touches. The example shown here is finished in an all-new ‘Iced Chocolate’ paint color with a ‘Silvertouched Truffle’ fabric roof. Hood stripes with blue edging and unique 17-inch wheels are also part of the Highgate package.

The Highgate convertible can also be had in Midnight Black metallic or White Silver metallic.

Inside the Highgate convertible is fitted with a ‘Dark Truffle’ leather interior with blue piping and blue contrasting stitching. The special model is equipped with MINI’s Chill Pack, which includes automatic air conditioning, Bluetooth hands-free and USB connectivity.

The Highgate convertible can be had in four-different trim levels – Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D and Cooper SD. All models are hooked to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Prices for the MINI Highgate convertible will start from £20,665, with top-spec models commanding £25,400.
