Wow.. that looks almost exactly like the last-generation Fit! This is a bit of a gamble for Mitsu to bring to the US considering their dealer network is shriveling.. but maybe a gamble is what they need now.

I don’t think they could make the snout more hideous even if they tried. The C-pillar requires back-up and lane changing camera, but I believe it is a trend bestowed upon us by Gremlin (anyone remember AMC out there?). I am fan of small cars, especially hatches, but not this one. I personally don’t think Mitsubishi will be in busines long anough to certify this, what did they sell this year 4-5K vehicles in all of US?

How cool is it that the US will be getting a whole bunch of smaller cars in the future, including hatchbacks. Now we just need gas to go back to $4 so people will buy them and the car companies won’t retrench. The US car buyer is such a fickle breed

Wow, this made me chuckle. My first car was an ’86 Dodge Colt GTS imported from Mitsubishi. It was definitely quick but something about rain made the thing die lol.

Very nice to see Mitsu getting back to there roots and offering the market a nice small somewhat sporty car for a low price. Enough with these oversized, bloated offerings like the Eclipse. Bring back the good old days of 18k-22k priced cars that are sporty and zippy.

Ralliart seems to have a turbo for extra horses and twist. Small engine and efficient turbo are always great to have together. Could bring back the compact sports car craze from the 90′s if the automakers focus on making sub 20k models sporty again.

The new front end on this is hideous. I liked the previous Colt much, much better. But I’ve been calling this move for quite a while now! Mitsubishi WILL bring smaller cars stateside!
