First off mitsubishi cars are NOT unreliable! 90% of the reliability issues are from "dumb teenagers" who think that they are real technicians and can properly modify their cars. if mitsu cars are left stock or modified by a professional they are very reliable. I am the proud owner of a 92 plymouth laser and a 92 galant vr-4. I can blame myself for very single problem that i have had with them. my girl has a 95 mirage that has never been serviced EVER (other than oil) with 170k and it has never had single problem.

anyway, i really hope they put this thing into production it makes me wet just thinkig about it. I was very disapointed when they stoped making the (real) eclipse and i have been long waiting a new 2dr awd to replace it. seeing this is like a dream come true.

when/if they release this, i know they have one buyer!

I sort of understand what you're saying. I believed you took issue with the plastic on the production car (where that hood wouldn't show up) but I may have been wrong. Regardless, we're both pretty sure that hood is a no-go. As for the grill, if you look at all competitors, they all have black plastic grills (not that it makes things all right). And it works for that class of vehicles ... everything from the RX-8 to the Cooper S to the Si. If you WERE referring to the concept, I agree ... should have been more "finished".

Impulsive, the black plastic grill is on the current Eclipse and Lancer. It makes both cars look cheaper than the rest of the design would have suggested. Sportiness does not exclude classiness. I was saying that the lines in Mitsu's new designs are there to compete with others, but its in the finishing department that I take issue with. And fnding the same black plastic treatment on a concept, where expense shouldn't be as much a factor indicates that the tacky trend will continue.

Idiot, I've proven the ads aren't working in two ways ... go back and read as many times as you need to help ... yesterday at 2:30pm.

It's LLN's decision, not the advertiser's, monkey brain. As such, LLN can request, for its readers satisfaction, that the advertiser redeploy the ad in a more acceptable format.

Arguing ineffectively with someone who is RIGHT and looking ever more foolish is your domain ... that and being a male bitch ... good for you, stupid piece of shit.

Wow, your stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Web sites get their money from the company that is being advertised, NOT the readers. When they realize their ads aren't working they will simply stop having LLN post them.

Stupid monkey, ads done the right way. Pissing off readers is the WRONG way, dufus. Keep trying pansy, you're still failing.

LLN, you stink, sell-outs. Resorting to this kind of shit is pathetic ... kind of like many of the posters here. This site is deteriorating ... kind of like the quality of many of the posters here.

'CJC', it's a concept ... it won't look exactly like this when you find it on sale. As most above have commented, it looks good and will probably be one of the upper echelon vehicles on the road in terms of aesthetics.

'C6Rookie', you STILL don't get it, retard? Go back and read again my explanation and try to relate this situation to any other real world scenario .... it's Microsoft's responsibility to build an operating system that works on the vast majority of computers ... it's Ford's responsibility to build a vehicle that operates in a wide variety of climates ... it's CBS's responsibility to provide programming without sex during family viewing time.

Whining, as you call it, idiot, is the only way issues get addressed ... and it's not an issue to a small minority, fecal matter for brains, as I'm sure there are quite a number of users of I.E. here. Again, dufus, it's not my responsibility to adapt to LLN's failed advertising practices ... it's LLN's responsibility to adapt to its readers' legitimate requests. You can live your life, chump, like a weak bitch while I live voicing my views which are RIGHT and JUST to make things better wherever I find it necessary.

I am the adult here by fixing a problem while you are the child running and avoiding the issue. I am DEALING WITH IT ... you, on the other hand, are a worthless pansy. You are out of your league, as I've mentioned, on many levels, loser. But stick to running, the world needs male bitches too.

This would be a GREAT looking car if it weren't for the cheap-looking black hood and mesh grill. =/ The black plastic look of those two items alone cheapen the whole look of the otherwise good looking car. Its a shame that Mitsu has taken this aesthetic on their production cars as well because $500 saved on parts cheapens the look of $20,000 plus worth of car.

I DID realize others were complaining about the ads. They are also little whiners, like you. I absolutely DESPISE of people who bitch about things. When I got tired of ads, instead of complaining, I simply looked for a better browser and found Firefox.
Be an adult and DEAL WITH IT. I do like your grammar, however. Good work there.

That was the BEST grade four response anyone could have given ... good for you. I think you two anal investigators should go to town in doing P.I. work on each other.

LLN, get rid of the Workopolis ad ... I'll chip in to offset the loss in revenue.

'Badass', you ignorant fool, learn the English language (GRAFT, NOT GRAPH, idiot) before posting on an English language site.

'C6', what I am is right, monkey. If things worked as they should, I wouldn't have to concern myself with correcting retards like many of you here. Idiot, others have agreed with me here in the last week about the Workopolis ad and I'm pretty sure not all of them switched to Firefox, so your pathetic argument is WRONG ... point being, dufus, it's not our responsibility to change our lives to avoid nonsense presented by this site which could redeploy that ad the same way all other ads are displayed here. If this site is concerned with every poster's satisfaction with their experience here, it would do something to address the issue and not hope that those who have a problem would inconvenience themselves to avoid an issue brought on by the site itself. The fact that this ad is not receiving the attention it should, via NoScript for example, only reinforces the need to change, if not remove completely, its format by not annoying the fraction of its audience that does see it. It's failing both ways.

Do you understand any of this logic yet, worthless jackasses? LLN needs to cater to ALL of its readers regardless of browser.

'C6Rookie', you're out of your league, loser. Get your dildo out of your ass and stick it in your mouth, figuratively speaking, as everything you posted above should have never left your pitiful brain.

They need to do something for the poor Eclipse, they've pretty much dropped 2 crappy generations in a row. I remember the days of the GST, I was a fan of that car.

'Badass', what would they do ... show BMW's ugliness on a scale with X-axis showing severity of ugliness and Y-axis the year?

The term is graft.

Hey, I'd like to graph flaming 'LP''s gayness ... then again, he would be off the chart. Why bother? "quite love the wheels" is ungraphable.

I agree that the spoiler is a bit small, but then look at the Audi R8, Lambo M both flush body spoiler that stick out when in use and it works for them. As for the Porsche comment. I just don't like the way it rolls down with a smooth curve, it didn't look right on the previous Eclipse. I would have preferred to see something more like the Genesis Coupe rear end, but then everyone has their tastes.

The rear reminds you of a Porsche.. and that's a bad thing? Well to each his/her own. Frankly I don't see it. I did in the G35 coupe but not here, but only the suggestion of a 911's profile. The tail lights on this car might suggestion a 928 though. I'm also getting GTP influences and of course and evolution of the current Eclipse/Galant coupe.

I think the dinky spoiler kind of skews things badly. Could be bigger to stand out more deliberately or body color to NOT stand out so much. As is the Spoiler looks dinky, cheap, tacked-on. But that's hardly going to get me to think poorly of this car. Overall, it is the best looking Eclipse so far.

The current one looks good too but mechanically leaves me cold. If the new car has AWD, a hot engine, and a healthy amount of Aluminum and a reasonable price, then it's back on my short list.

I like the initial sketches of the front, but they need to work on the rear, reminds me too much of a porsche (the way the trunk curves down to the rear bumper.

I real excited on seeing the front though.

If this makes it to production as pictured here, I believe this Eclipse is the first one that has nice enough lines to stand a chance of aging well. Whatever you think of it as a sports car, this at least looks like one.
