Mitsubishi i s testing its i-car small car in California, according to Automotive News. The of tiny cars arrived to the ‘States in March, and will be tested in the Lose Angeles area, the report says. Mitsubishi is looking to see how the public reacts to the car, and what potential customers say. It has a 660cc engine (that’s two thirds of a liter). The car gets 40 mpg and costs around $11,000 in Japan. Interestingly, the i-car is derived from the Smart ForTwo, which just went on sale in the U.S.
