More 2007 BMW 3-series coupe spy shots

02/21/2006, 3:58 PM

By admin

Barring any last minute leaks, the 2007 BMW 3-Series Coupe (E92) is only days away from its official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. The latest round of spy photos of the car show it with only minimal disguise, in full showroom trim. Notably, the car has a different front fascia than the vehicles in previous spy shots. The air intakes look much more attractive here, and the overall package comes together nicely. The blue color also gives us a better idea of the 3er’s lines, which look quite handsome here. The rear taillights are still taped over, but those have already been revealed in separate spy photos. We also noticed the blue car has two rear tailpipes on the left, whereas the black car spied by AutoCar has one on each side — possibly indicating the difference between the 330 and 335 models. See all the images after the jump…

It certainly looks better now than in previous shots, but I’m still not certain about that rear end. Even with the tape cover part of it.

True, it is starting to look better and better! Especially the rear end.

here’s hoping for the rear to be great. the front is coming together beautifully. its better than any artist concept i’ve seen so far. the front is a nice step up in being aggressive than in the e90s. the subtle line from the headlamp to the bottom spoiler is very nicely done. i can’t wait for the M.

Here’s hoping they wise up and put a spare tire in the trunk, instead of forcing people into those overpriced runflats that only have a 140 treadwear rating.

It seems that the front fascia is heavily influenced by the 5 series. I must say that the tail lamps look a lot better

Yeah, laugh all you want….I’m the guy with money looking to buy a car. BMW needs to rethink their runflat only configuration, I can just as easily buy a CLK.

Looks dynamic and elegant as photographed. Hope removing the tape will not reveal quirky lights, or uneven styling in the rear.
