The Ghost might technically be Rolls-Royce’s entry-level model, but buyers aren’t treating the car like a stripper model. A full 56 percent of Ghost buyers opted for Rolls-Royce’s bespoke personalization program last year.
Not your standard options list, the Rolls-Royce bespoke program allows buyers to tailor virtually every aspect of their car. Popular bespoke items include unique paint colors, built-in humidors and integrated champagne sets.
As every option is customizable there is no set price list for the bespoke program, but it’s safe to assume bespoke-fitted Ghost models left dealer lots for well over their $250,000 sticker price.
The bespoke treatment was even more popular with Phantom buyers, particularly among Middle Eastern buyers. An amazing 99 percent of Phantom models delivered to the Middle East were treated to Rolls-Royce’s bespoke program.
“It is always our goal to exceed our clients’ highest expectations and fulfill their innermost desires,†said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Rolls-Royce CEO. “With highly bespoke Phantom and Ghost models, we are able to achieve this. The passion with which our bespoke craftspeople create these beautiful cars is reflected in some truly outstanding examples delivered across the globe last year.â€
As a result of the sharp increase in demand, Rolls-Royce will soon be doubling its staff of bespoke experts.
