The new Land Rover Freelander will break cover at the Paris Motor Show in September, according to an Edmunds report published today. However, Auto Express yesterday reported that the vehicle will make its world debut at the British Motor Show in July. The new truck rides on a modified C1 platform, which also underpins the Euro Ford Focus, Volvo S40, and Mazda 3. The proposed Volvo XC50 SUV is also expected to ride on this platform, which means it will likely have some similarities to the Freelander. Edmunds wrong once again. Land Rover told the world back in January that the Freelander will be intro’d at the London auto show at Canary Wharf. Quit quoting Edmunds. They are never right.
