Toyota partners with Servco to test car-sharing app in Hawaii

GM to be removed from Toronto Stock Exchange
GM announced Wednesday that it applied (and received approval) to be removed from the Toronto Stock Exchange. "Given the relatively low trading volume of its shares on the TSX and the fact that GM's NYSE listing provides its shareholders with sufficient liquidity, the company believes that the costs associated with maintaining a dual listing are no longer justified," the company said in the announcement.

German chancellor Angela Merkel predicts gasoline- and diesel-powered cars will ultimately cease to exist. Merkel -- who hopes to get re-elected next month -- told members of the media that she can't predict when the technology will go extinct.
