Portuguese auto magazine Auto Hoje has published some new computer renderings of the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class and CLK-Class. Currently, we only have a large shot of the CL, which appears on the cover of the magazine. We already have a good idea of what the new CL-Class will look like, based on recent spy shots of undisguised prototypes. While spy shots have given no indication of whether the CL will get the 2007 S-Class’s fender flares, the Auto Hoje image suggests it will. A rendering released by AutoBild long ago accurately predicted the look of the CL, but the Auto Hoje image shows some subtle differences. It has more pronounced shoulders, as indicated by the spy shots, and also slightly more rounded headlights. The AutoBild image shows a pronounced character line down the side — a la CLS-Class — while the Auto Hoje rendering more closely follows the S-Class design language, which does not include a character line. The cover also shows a 2008 CLK-Class rendering, but we’ll hold judgement until we get a larger shot of the car.
